Hollman, Mary (Marriage - 28 Nov. 1933)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Mary’s Catholic church on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1933, when Miss Mary Hollman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Hollman, became the bride of Mr. Louis Jakel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Jakel of Stetsonville, Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. Marie Walsdorf of Stanley acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Lourence Jakel, his brother.

The bride was attired in a beautiful dress of brown flowered satin, ankle length, with brown accessories to match. Her corsage bouquet consisted of fall flowers. The bridesmaid wore a dress of rust color silk crepe with accessories to match. Her corsage bouquet also consisted of fall flowers.

The bride is a graduate of Colby, Wis. High School and the Bushey Business College of Appleton, Wis. For the past few years, she has been managing the Rudolph Hollman farm west of Colby. The groom has been managing his father’s farm west of Stetsonville for the past six years. He has purchased the Rudolph Hollman farm where the young couple will make their home.
